Handcrafted from a natural bamboo trunk, this whisk (chasen in Japanese) is used to turn Matcha powder into a delicious frothy drink.
There are many different types of whisks. For example, crowns made of Kurochiku bamboo are widespread, this bamboo is green in spring, black spots appear in early autumn, and it turns completely black in late autumn. The color of bamboo varies depending on the season.
A bamboo whisk, according to the rules of tea ceremony schools, should have no more than 80 bristles. Then he whips up a very beautiful foam. With proper storage conditions, the whisk will be in excellent condition and will last for many years. The bristles of the new corolla are strongly twisted. But after the first or second use, they straighten; this is a natural phenomenon.
